Archer Roadmap at a Glance

This roadmap, currently a work in progress, outlines the development phases of Archer's backend application. This backend execution connects users, intents, and protocols through its specialized natural language super-agent interface. Each blockchain that Archer integrates with will involve starting with the basics first. Natively, non-custodial wallet functionality and core decentralized finance activities will be prioritized with each new protocol integration to Archer's intent engine. More details are explained below.

Phase 1: Native Swaps & Advanced Trades (Q2 2025)

Objective: Develop foundational functionality for single-chain intents execution, enabling users to perform native swaps and advanced trading strategies directly via the super-agent interface.

Key Deliverables:

  • Backend Infrastructure: Build a centralized backend capable of processing user intents securely and efficiently.

  • LLM Integration: Integrate a Large Language Model, optimized for our search platform's capabilities, in order to interpret user queries and translate them into executable intents.

  • Wallet Integration: Enable non-custodial wallet connections to ensure secure users can interact easily with on-chain protocols. This will include wallet recovery mechanisms through social accounts.

  • Execution Module: Develop a module for executing swaps and trades on supported chains with optimized pricing.

Phase 2: Cross-Chain Intents & Automations (Q3 2025)

Objective: Expand functionality to support cross-chain intents and automations, enabling seamless execution across multiple blockchain ecosystems.

Key Deliverables:

  • Cross-Chain Routing Engine: Develop an engine capable of routing user intents across chains while abstracting complexities like gas token acquisition and wallet setup.

  • Automation Framework: Introduce automation capabilities for recurring tasks (e.g., portfolio rebalancing or yield farming strategies).

  • Bridge Integrations: Integrate major cross-chain bridges to facilitate asset transfers between chains.

Phase 3: Intents Deployment Platform (Q4 2025)

Objective: Launch an open platform for deployers (developers) to create custom agents or execution flows that can be integrated into the Archer ecosystem.

Key Deliverables:

  • Developer SDKs: Provide software development kits (SDKs) for deployers to easily integrate their agents or create custom execution flows.

  • Fee Management System: Implement a system where deployers can set fees for successful routing of user intents to their agents.

  • Agent Ranking Algorithm: Develop a ranking system that scores agents based on performance metrics like speed, security, and user satisfaction.

Phase 4: Data Platform for Unlocking Onchain User Insights (H1 2026)

Objective: Create a data platform that aggregates and analyzes on-chain data to unlock actionable insights for users, deployers, and advertisers.

Key Deliverables:

  • Expressive Data Layer: Build a unified data layer that captures token metadata, transaction context, and user intent patterns across chains.

  • Analytics Dashboard: Provide deployers with dashboards showing performance metrics and user engagement data.

  • User Opt-In Mechanism: Allow users to opt-in as data providers, earning rewards when their aggregated data is utilized by advertisers or deployers.

Phase 5: Ads & Risk Ranking for Search (H1 2026)

Objective: Introduce advanced search capabilities with integrated risk scoring and targeted advertising features.

Key Deliverables:

  • Risk Scoring Engine: Develop an engine that analyzes token risks and strategy volatility to protect users from scams or poorly performing intents.

  • Targeted Advertising Platform: Enable advertisers to run campaigns targeting specific user segments based on aggregated intent data. Ads will be actionable directly through the super-agent interface.

Phase 6: Custom ArcherNet Model (2026)

Objective: Transition from centralized infrastructure into a proprietary decentralized network powered by the “ArcherNet” model.

Key Deliverables:

  • AI Model Development: Fine-tune existing open-source LLMs into a custom model optimized for Web3 intents processing, leveraging existing user actions.

  • Decentralized Compute Network: Leverage distributed compute solutions to scale infrastructure and executions trustlessly.
